Exam Preparation

Preparing for exams can be overwhelming, especially when you don’t know where to start. Fortunately, there are several options available that can assist you in the preparation of your desired IIHR exam.

While IIHR does not endorse a particular resource or method of study, we encourage candidates to explore the preparation resources that are available for each certification exam.

There is no single preparation method that can meet every candidate’s needs and we urge you to use a variety of tools and resources to enhance your understanding of general HR principles and HR exam content.

Exam Pattern

All exam questions are multiple choice, which means they contain a stem (or premise) and four (4) answer choices including only one (1) correct answer.

The premise states the problem or the question to be answered. You can expect two (2) main types of premise statement, including a statement posing a question (example: “Which type of psychological test measures a person’s overall ability to learn?”) and an incomplete statement (example: “A person’s overall ability to learn is best measured by a[n]…”).

The correct answer is one (1) of the four (4) options representing the correct response or the best correct response. In this case, best means that a panel of experts would agree to this judgment.  Some answer choices are written to look correct, but they are not the best answer. This is done to assess your ability to make the right decision and apply knowledge in an actual work experience.

Some of the multiple-choice questions are formatted as scenarios. Scenario questions present typical HR situations, followed by questions based upon them. These scenarios require you to integrate facts from different areas of the HR Exam Content Outline.

There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions and 10 Subjective Type Questions, and the Total Marks will be 100.

Certification

After successful completion of exam, all the participants will be getting Internationally Accredited and Globally Recognised Certification fro, IIHR, which will be valid for 3 years. After 3 years participants can Recertify by appearing for Online Exam or by Credits.
